Since November is the ideal month to detox and get your body prepared for all that Holiday food that is coming, I went ahead and did a detox this month. With a little help from Vitalinea, Freddy pant room and David Lloyd I can say that it was quite a succes. Here is my story:

First of all, I took on the Vitalinea #myvitabreak challenge. They sent me a package filled with challenges to make November healthier than ever. With a focus on changing bad food routines and taking time to work out and relax.

The first thing I changed is my breakfast ritual. I used to stop in the railway station for my morning coffee or hot chocolate with a pain au chocolate. I changed them for a yoghurt with granola and fruit in the morning. With the unhealthy breakfast, I was already hungry at 11 again. But the yoghurt keeps me filled easily till it's lunchtime! So that was a great change!

Another habit I took on is trying to drink more. I have been putting fruit or cucumber in my water to make it more tasty. And it works! Drinking is less boring so I don't forget to do it.

Secondly, Freddy Pant Room invited me to discover the new collection in a Crossfit environment. I got to test out the new sport collection during a cross fit session. Oh boy did I gain respect for those cross fitters! I was sore for about a week! But we were rewarded with a super delicious Paleo lunch. What I really like about the freddy pants is that they have a silicone band which makes sure your pants doesn't drop down while you're exercising. Also, you don't have to pull up your pants the entire time in between yoga poses.

And last but not least! David Lloyd is coming to Antweeeerp! The family club already has a wonderful location in Brussels but it is coming to Antwerp now. I went to Brussels to find out what you can do at this club. And it is a lot! We joined a 360 degrees training with a personal trainer, a delicious and healthy lunch, a lesson of aqua biking and afterwards some well deserved relaxation in the jacuzzi and steam bath. The club also has underground tennis courts and a whole floor for the kids. Their activities are perfectly aligned with the adult activities so no babysit needed! Discover more on their website.

Ah Barcelona. A city that will never leave my heart. I went on a little city trip to visit some friends over there and get refuelled for a Belgian winter.

We sure did a lot of refuelling! We ate through the days. Brunches turned into lunches and lunches into dinners. And in between, we found some time to do a little shopping.

I already spotted this pretty jacket on the online shop but I wanted to wait and buy it on the trip. It gives it that extra special Barcelona feeling now.

Black and white are still my favourite colours. Black even more than white. I didn't think changing my hair would have had so much effect on wardrobe. But I used to rock light grey dresses and sweaters! Now the only way I can wear grey is with a scarf in between so my hair doesn't blend in with my outfit.

Nowadays I'm still figuring out my new colour palette so Black and white are the best base.

Top - H&M Studio
Jeans - Zara

Last week I've discovered a lovely New brand which is called Tinsels. It is a french brand that perfectly reflects the average wardrobe of a Parisian fashionista. Cute dresses and coats and some boyish items to complete the french tomboy looks. Be sure to discover their website and fall in love like I did.

Let me tell you guys some more about My Bongo moment a few weeks ago. Bongo decided to renew their vouchers. They made them a little bigger and from now on you can use the vouchers two years instead of one.

I got to try out the box called 'Hippe hotels'. After going through the book for the first time my eye already caught a few favourites. Actually something else that I picked up is the fact that Bongo really has a wide rage of hotels. There is something in this book for everyone!

I picked out the cutest little hotel in Paris called Monceau Elysees. They definitely have a thing for prints, even the stairway was completely decorated with gold and leopard and when I asked the girl at the reception for some tips she couldn't stop telling me about all the great things I had to do and visit.

Overall this was a really nice experience. I love that you have the time to take a look and pick out a hotel that perfectly fits your needs at the time. I had the most romantic getaway, sleeping next to the beautiful Arc de Triomph. I would do this over in no time.

This outfit is exactly what I would imagine scandinavian kids wearing to school. Maybe even with a more boyish skirt or shorts but I think you get the picture.

I'm really liking this Indian summer we have going on here. Going out on a Sunday in october without stockings seemed unimaginable a few weeks ago. So let us all take a moment of silence to embrace the after summer sunshine!

Have a nice day!
