Amsterdam still remains and will remain one of my favourite cities in the world. I lived there for 6 months and I must say that it wasn't love at first sight but my love grew bit by bit and since my last stay even more.

This last stay was at the W hotel, which is situated in an old bank and has an amazing view over the romantic canals. The hotel is super central, after a two minute walk your already shopping in the 9 streets and the Kalverstraat is only 1 minute away. And you even have a big concept store in the lobby of the hotel. Shopping destination much?

If you're not really into shopping you can just stay at the hotel all day and night. It has everything you need! The beautiful spa can be found in the cellar of the building. This used to be the place where they kept the bank safes. It still has this amazing, mysterious vibe. And to regain your strengths, after all the relaxing, you can have an amazing dinner at The Dutchess. A restaurant which is situated in the same building. Oh yes! Aaaaaand, if you are not into fancy food, you can order roomservice from the burger bar next door. Yum to the yum yum.

For more pictures of the hotel room and spa, check out the website of W Hotel.
You can book your reservation here.

The holidays are coming! Get out those pretty dresses and make your family proud by talking the night away about those great achievements and lovely memories of 2016.

It was a year with lots of ups and downs but what I'll mostly remember about 2016 is the amazing summer I've had with my friends and all the new people I've met.

I fell in love with this dress after I saw it online. The only thing about it is that the fabric crinkles easily. And since you all know I'm not the master at ironing, I'm afraid I won't be wearing it this much. Can one of the highstreet brands please come up with affordable iron proof dresses? Many thanks!

I simply can't grasp the fact that only two weeks ago, I was able to sit in the sunshine with just a T-shirt. Oh how I miss these Barcelona winters. In the meanwhile, Belgian temperatures went under 0 so I'm walking around with an average of 32 layers every day.

I'm more than happy about the fact that highstreet brands are bringing back our childhood heroes. Like Zara did with this pants. Walking around in these Mickey pants makes me feel like a happy toddler all over again.

Last week, I've spent the weekend in Barcelona with my lovely fellow blogger Monica and we got the chance to try out the Pullman Skipper hotel at the beautiful coast of Barcelona.

If you are into city tripping but you can appreciate the piece and quiet, I would totally recommend staying at the Pullman hotel. It's location is definitely a 9/10. It is right next to the sea and you are only 3 metrostops away from the city center. So you have the options to either hang around at the beach or go and discover the dazzling city of Barcelona.

This was by the way one of the reasons why I loved living in this city. You can escape the touristy crowds by just taking a 15 min metroride to the end of the coast. Barcelona has these amazing quiet spots where you can totally zone out.

The location is not only ideal during the day but also for nightlife. A couple of Barcelona's mos know clubs are right across from the hotel. These clubs are not my preffered ones but if you are in the mood for a fun night, they'll definitely do the trick! And if you are not, you still have the bathtub and roomservice.

This location + the amazing rooftop bar with a pool = an amazing view over the entire coast! It truly was to die for but more about this in my video! (Coming up soon!)

Now let's talk about one of my favourite things in life: food. The breakfast at Pullman was -without a doubt- one of the best I ever had! Soooo many options. I was regretting the fact that I didn't get up earlier to spend 4 hours at the buffet so I could try every-single-thing. But 30 minutes also did the trick. Fully charged and ready to discover the city.

If you guys end up booking here, make sure you say hi from me to the super friendly staff!!

The backstreet boys are not the only ones that are making a comeback. Meet Tommy denim 2.0. I love the return of these big Tommy flags. Now I know how it felt like to be on tour with Destiny's Child.

I have a lot of fun plans coming up. Next weekend I'm off to Barcelona again with Monica. We are going to try our first vlog so you are warned. Get ready for a sneak peek of our travel adventures, bloopers included!

You can find this retro collection at Tommy Hilfiger and Princess Blue.

Hi guys! I'm pretty psyched to announce that I'm an Alix kind of girl! The ladies of Alix the label came down to Belgium to shoot their Belgian Alix kind of girls.

Alix is all about luxury basics with a bold twist for girls that like the rock and roll way of life. I could see myself wearing practicly every piece of the collection so I believe this collab is like a match made in rock and roll heaven.

Apart from this lovely shoot at the Antwerp Central Station, I told the Alix girls about my dreams and plans for the future. Want to know more about them? Read the full interview on

There is a new kid on the block! JD Sports has landed it's first shop in Antwerp a while ago but this month, they also opened their very first Belgian flagship store in Nieuwstraat, Brussels.

Fun fact: they don't only sell your go-to sportsbrands but they have added some more exclusive ones for their flagship store. You can also find your favorite Hugo Boss sportsoutfit e.g.!

I love to stick with my favourites when it comes to sport. As long as I'm comfy, I'm good. We'll and looking fashionable while working out isn't so bad either.

Ladies and gents, I'm happy to announce that I'll be seeing la vie en Fendi from now on. Last weekend, I headed over to Grand Optical to pick out some new glasses. I chose my three favourites out of the gazillion beautiful options and ended up with this spotted exemplar.

I had tortoise glasses before, when I was a brunette but I feel like this shade of tortoise really complements my hair. Thank you for producing these in my exact haircolours, Fendi!

Now about Grand Optical: best service of my life, no joke! Laurence, the girl that helped me was super efficient, friendly and fast! We found my 3 favourites, did an eye test and made a decision in not even one hour! Actually all of their store staff is trained to do an eyetest. Which comes in handy if you haven't been to an ophthalmologist in forever, like me. One hour later, my glasses were already finished. Correct lenses and everything!

Once in awhile, I practice sports. Last week was one of these times. Lee King of King Studios invited me to one of his pilates classes in Aartselaar.

Lee doesn't teach just your regular pilates class. He found a way to bring reformer pilates all the way from the states to Belgium. The fact that you carry out all exercises on the machines, ensures that your body gets toned just that bit more. Actually you can call it 'power pilates'.

Now I just have to persevere and get my sporty spice game back up. Who's with me?

I can't believe it is already October! 2016 is almost over and it feels like it just started yesterday. I really reminisce about my amazing summer. I had such a wonderful time with my friends in Belgium. I've spent so much time abroad that I forgot what Belgian summers are like.

Weekend after weekend, I've spent time at the best festivals and parties. I made new friends every week and I reconnected with old ones.

It's good to be back, Belgium.
