TRAVEL | W HOTEL AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam still remains and will remain one of my favourite cities in the world. I lived there for 6 months and I must say that it wasn't love at first sight but my love grew bit by bit and since my last stay even more.

This last stay was at the W hotel, which is situated in an old bank and has an amazing view over the romantic canals. The hotel is super central, after a two minute walk your already shopping in the 9 streets and the Kalverstraat is only 1 minute away. And you even have a big concept store in the lobby of the hotel. Shopping destination much?

If you're not really into shopping you can just stay at the hotel all day and night. It has everything you need! The beautiful spa can be found in the cellar of the building. This used to be the place where they kept the bank safes. It still has this amazing, mysterious vibe. And to regain your strengths, after all the relaxing, you can have an amazing dinner at The Dutchess. A restaurant which is situated in the same building. Oh yes! Aaaaaand, if you are not into fancy food, you can order roomservice from the burger bar next door. Yum to the yum yum.

For more pictures of the hotel room and spa, check out the website of W Hotel.
You can book your reservation here.

OUTFIT | HOLIDAY DRESSING

The holidays are coming! Get out those pretty dresses and make your family proud by talking the night away about those great achievements and lovely memories of 2016.

It was a year with lots of ups and downs but what I'll mostly remember about 2016 is the amazing summer I've had with my friends and all the new people I've met.

I fell in love with this dress after I saw it online. The only thing about it is that the fabric crinkles easily. And since you all know I'm not the master at ironing, I'm afraid I won't be wearing it this much. Can one of the highstreet brands please come up with affordable iron proof dresses? Many thanks!

What am I wearing:
Dress - Zara
Shoes - Stradivarius

OUTFIT | MICKEY

I simply can't grasp the fact that only two weeks ago, I was able to sit in the sunshine with just a T-shirt. Oh how I miss these Barcelona winters. In the meanwhile, Belgian temperatures went under 0 so I'm walking around with an average of 32 layers every day.

I'm more than happy about the fact that highstreet brands are bringing back our childhood heroes. Like Zara did with this pants. Walking around in these Mickey pants makes me feel like a happy toddler all over again.

Kisses from 1994!

Sunglasses - H&M
T-Shirt - Adidas
Jeans - Zara

TRAVEL | PULLMAN SKIPPER BARCELONA

Last week, I've spent the weekend in Barcelona with my lovely fellow blogger Monica and we got the chance to try out the Pullman Skipper hotel at the beautiful coast of Barcelona.

If you are into city tripping but you can appreciate the piece and quiet, I would totally recommend staying at the Pullman hotel. It's location is definitely a 9/10. It is right next to the sea and you are only 3 metrostops away from the city center. So you have the options to either hang around at the beach or go and discover the dazzling city of Barcelona.

This was by the way one of the reasons why I loved living in this city. You can escape the touristy crowds by just taking a 15 min metroride to the end of the coast. Barcelona has these amazing quiet spots where you can totally zone out.

The location is not only ideal during the day but also for nightlife. A couple of Barcelona's mos know clubs are right across from the hotel. These clubs are not my preffered ones but if you are in the mood for a fun night, they'll definitely do the trick! And if you are not, you still have the bathtub and roomservice.

This location + the amazing rooftop bar with a pool = an amazing view over the entire coast! It truly was to die for but more about this in my video! (Coming up soon!)

Now let's talk about one of my favourite things in life: food. The breakfast at Pullman was -without a doubt- one of the best I ever had! Soooo many options. I was regretting the fact that I didn't get up earlier to spend 4 hours at the buffet so I could try every-single-thing. But 30 minutes also did the trick. Fully charged and ready to discover the city.

If you guys end up booking here, make sure you say hi from me to the super friendly staff!!

What am I wearing:

Denim - Samsoe Samsoe
T-shirt - Zara
Jacket - Levi's via 3Suissses
Hat - Vintage
Boots - Stradivarius
